So sorry to hear of Joyce's passing. We lived next to them on Mynatt Rd. years ago and I have fond memories of her, Trula, June, and the rest of the family. It was nice seeing her and Trula at my Mom's funeral last year. May her family feel the peace that only our Savior can give in the days ahead. God bless you all!

I was so saddened to read of the passing of Joyce. she was so very gentle and sweet to everyone. I worked with her for almost 25 years and loved her dearly. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Howard, I was so very sorry to hear about Joyce. I only met her a few times, but enjoyed talking with her and could tell she was a joy to be around. I have had you in my constant prayers.

I always looked forward to visiting with Joyce. She always came to graduations, wedding showers, and most recently, baby showers. One of my favorite memories of her is getting to rent a video and watching it at her house. She took me for a ride in her orange BMW. I thought it was the coolest! She'll always be in my heart. My thoughts are with her family.

Joyce was a very sweet lady who had a way of making everyone around her feel special. She will be missed. Our prayers for her family.

I am at such a loss for words...I loved Joyce for the good and loving person she was...always thinking of others. To me she was like an apostle...silent but always doing to help others. I will miss her dearly! She is in the hands of God. Debbie at the Community Chest. We will all miss her.

Joyce was the first person to welcome me to Knoxville. She and Howard became my family over the years I lived there. As did her family - June, Mike, Mama, Kim, Mamaw. We had so many wonderful times together that always started with a cheerful "Hi! How are you!" and often ended with a cheesecake. Like everyone else, I am deeply saddened over our loss of our dear friend. Though I cannot be there in person, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. My sincerest and heartfelt sympathy. Joyce was our friend for 40 years and we are having a very difficult time imagining life without her. Family and friends meant the world to Joyce and she was always ready to help any of us who needed her. She made us feel better about ourselves and whatever was going on in our lives. Our thoughts and love go to Howard, June, Linda, Marvin, and to her Mother and Mammaw who she spent many hours helping and caring for. We will cherish our memories of a wonderful friend who can never be replaced.
