Johnny W. Faircloth
MONETTA, SC - Johnny W. Faircloth, age 70, of Monetta, S.C., loving husband for 41 wonderful years to Connie Hillard Faircloth and son of the late Elmer C. Faircloth and the late Eva Lane Faircloth, entered into rest on Thursday, March 3, 2016. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Kristi Betz of Aiken, S.C.; sons, Ricky Faircloth of Wagener, S.C. and DeWayne Faircloth of Aiken, S.C.; a sister, Geneva Kirby of Warner Robins, Ga. and four grandchildren.
He was born in Lyons (Emanuel Co.) Ga. He was a retired Supervisor with Salem Carpets. He was of the Holiness Faith. His family stated that he was an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed playing the guitar in church and helping his children when needed. He was a loving husband, dad, brother, grandfather and friend. He shall be greatly missed by his family and all whose lives he touched during the 70 years that God granted him on this earth. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his family and loved ones. "To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord."
A service, celebrating his life and home going, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Virgil Bagwell officiating. The interment will follow at the Langley Cemetery in Langley, S.C. The Pallbearers will be Mark Betz, Johnny Betz, Darrell Hinds, Darrell Hinds, Jr. and Ricky Faircloth. Memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist with the funeral expenses. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
