John Nicholson Obituary
Aiken - Funeral services for Mr. John Nicholson, age 80, who passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019 will be held 1 PM Saturday , July 27, 2019 at River of Life Church, (Viewing 11AM-1 PM) 411 Columbia Highway. Burial will be held at Hayden Baptist Church Cemetery, 175 Hayden Rd.
He is survived by his lifetime companion and twin brother, James Nicholson; three sisters, Rev. Mamie L. Conway, Rev. Marie N. Hammonds, and Yvonne N Johnson; other relatives and friends. He was a veteran of the US Army and US Air Force.
Friends may call 121 Jehossee Drive, or JACKSON-BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, 126 Fairfield Street, SE, Aiken, SC 29801, 803 649 6123 Friday from 3-8 PM.

Our deepest condolences to the family.We met James and John when we were teenagers and James always had a message for us as young black people. They were both gracious enough to share our nuptials over 44 years ago. John was quiet and always made you think. He will be missed. We pray that God holds the family in His loving arms at this trying time. We will continue to keep you all in our prayers.
