My loving, mean, funny, bossy, amazing big brother...
It's almost 2:30 am. I'm awake, swollen legs hurting & propped up, not able to sleep & nothing to do or anyone to talk to. I check my email. Might as well, you know? I opened one just bc I didn't know where it came from...
I'm now crying & hurting more than just in my legs. It was you, your face smiling at me when I opened the email. Reminding me it's been almost a year that you've been gone. Like I needed to be reminded. I think of you & miss you every single second of every single day. I've wanted to talk to you about so many things, apologize for being such a brat little sister, & tell you if give ANYTHING to hear you say "Sissy Pooh Bear" as only you can. Man, how awesome is be to hear your voice. Just one more time.
I watch Mama. Close. She appears to be strong & keeping all together, but I see the other side. The side she hides from most people, even tries to hide from me. Some days she just lays in bed, missing you. There's nothing anyone can do or say to make it any better. I hate that. I don't want our parents hurting.
I try to be ok in front of them, too. I've caused enough chaos in my life. They don't need anymore.
I hope you're looking at Chris, your mini nephew. He's killing it, Bubba. I'm so proud of him, & you would be, also. Mama & Daddy both love him, & I believe both of them have a stronger attachment with him now. He's just so much like you, looks, funny personality, everything. It's like having pieces of you, like God allows us small glimpses of you through both your nephew & my nephew. You didn't think I'd forgotten your son, did you? I don't see him a lot, but I do see him. As far as I can tell he's doing pretty good. He'd working & living on his own. The best part, though, is he's so loving. I can't describe it, but he's great & previous, & I'm just as proud of him as I am of my son.
We all love & miss you beyond words.

I have not seen Paul in his adult life, I only remember him as a sweet young boy. I was very sad to hear of his passing. May God rest his soul and bless his loved ones, I know that he will be greatly missed.

Bubba I'll always look up to you just like in this pic. All little girls get starry eyed about their heros, and you were definitely my hero. In my mind there was nothing that you could not do. I wish you had not chosen to do this disappearing act though. LOL. I just miss you so much and it has only been 2 days. My world feels empty and I feel all alone. I'm more than willing to feel this pain for eternity to know that you are not hurting anymore. I love you.
