AIKEN, SC - Jill
Lassiter Chesser, 60, died Monday, May 30, 2016 at her residence.
A native of Elizabeth City, NC, Jill was a daughter of Audrey Dawson Bennett and the late Brig. Gen. O. F. Lassiter. She was a former administrative assistant with Texaco Corp. in Atlanta, GA. Jill moved to Aiken in 1997 from Chamblee, GA.
Survivors, in addition to her mother Audrey of Aiken, include a son, Joel Chesser, Snellville, GA; a daughter, Courtney Chesser, Commerce, GA; a grandson, Elijah Stinson, Commerce, GA; a brother, William D. "Bill" Lassiter, Concord, NC and her former husband, Ronald J. Chesser, Snellville, GA.
Funeral services will be private.
