Geri Welch Obituary

So full of life. Such a joy to work with. She is in my heart and mind every day.

To Mike and Geri's sweet dad and loving and protective sister and the other family members I met while working at Doctors Hospital, I just heard this morning of Geri's passing and am so heartbroken. I only knew her for a few short weeks but feel so grateful to have gotten to work with her...and laugh A LOT with her. She is one of those patients you don't forget. She kept me in stitches and shaking my head. Much love and prayers to you all! And, Geri, you fiesty and funny lady, rest in peace.

Mike I am so sorry. I always enjoyed working with Geri. If I was in a bad mood or not up to par that day, I could always depend on her to make me laugh before the end of our shift. I have asked God to bring peace to your heart at this difficult time.

Her passion for life, caring nature, and completely honest personality, allowed her to light up any room she entered. I will truly miss her, but know heaven gained very bright star. Geri had such a wonderful laugh and shared it with us all. My heart is saddened as is so many others by loosing Geri. I will always remember how she would encourage me when I was feeling anxious and she had such a way of lifting me up when I was discouraged. I don't think she really knew she did that for me but that is just how she was. A very open and honest person. If I wanted the truth that is who would give it to me whether I liked it or not. I will miss you my friend and I am still going to get Mark to take your dad fishing. Mike, if you need anything please don't hesitate to ask.

Mike and family, I was sad to hear that Geri had passed. Her honesty, about others as well as herself, was to be admired. Praying that you turn to God for comfort. He is the ultimate source for comfort and strength.

She loved life and I witnessed it first hand during her recent Trip to India for my nieces wedding. What beautiful woman and a kind heart. Will be missed by all who knew her and strangers equally.

I have some great memories of working along side Gerri in Shielded cells and my condolences are for you Mike and the family. A hard worker and thorough worker she was.

So sad to hear of the passing of Geri. She was always the person that kept the room in laughter. Her kindness and great personality will surly be missed. Prayers for all of her family and friends.
