Geneva McConnell Obituary
AIKEN - Mrs. Geneva Roberson McDuffie McConnell, the daughter of the late Lonnie and Sarah Roberson, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Zion Fair Missionary Baptist Church (Viewing from 1-2 PM), 97 Dry Branch Rd., Aiken. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her loving daughter, Donna McDuffie Holmes, while leaving to cherish many memories: her son, Sammie McDuffie, Jr. (Vivian); her grandchildren, Rochelle Myers (Rev. Craig), Tameika Valentine (Earl Jr), Yolanda Dortch (Kendall), Mario Thompson (Tracy), Sammie McDuffie III (Ryan), and DeAndra Thomas (Anthony); sister, Willeva R. Bush; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Russell and Carrie Mae McDuffie; seventeen great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
A special thanks to Crescent Hospice for their compassionate care.
Friends may call or visit the residence, 803-649-1211 on Thursday and Friday from 2-7 PM, and Saturday from 10-4 PM or Jackson-Brooks Funeral Home, 126 Fairfield St, SE, Aiken, SC 29801, 803 649 6123 Friday from 5-8 PM.
