WARNER ROBINS, Ga. - Graniteville - Graveside services for Gary Lawton Ready, 88, will be at 2 pm Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at The Historic Graniteville Cemetery, with Pastor Todd Sessions officiating.
Born in Graniteville, SC, in 1933, he was son of Charles Grady Ready and Ruth Floyd Ready. He died October 7 in Warner Robins, GA, surrounded by his family. Mr. Ready was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Warner Robins, a graduate of Clemson University, and a devoted fan of the Clemson Tigers.
Air Force Major retired, he is survived by his beloved wife Anne Suzanne Ready, Warner Robins; sister and brother-in-law Louise and Duane Strother, Graniteville; daughters Valerie Ready Johnson (Geof), Marietta, GA, and Jerri Ready d'Oliveira (Mike), Murfreesborough, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law Earl and Margaret Ready, Graniteville.
