I was really sad to read Frederica's obituary but I feel fortunate to have known her. She will always be "one of my favorite people." I met her at the Aiken County Historical Museum as a docent and really got to know her as part of the Friends of the Museum board. She was an intelligent, witty, upbeat, capable person and I so enjoyed spending time with her at the museum as well as "her club," The Wilcox for lunch. After Frederica moved to Port Townsend, I loved corresponding with her through emails and her many thoughtful cards. I will miss her.
