Aiken, SC - STEPHEN JOHN GAVIN, 80, beloved husband of Brenda Osgood Gavin, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2026 in Augusta, GA after years of bravely battling heart disease. A native of East Millinocket, ME, he was the son of the late John and Lillian Powers Gavin.
Surviving is his loving wife of 54 years, Brenda of Aiken, SC.
A Memorial Service will be Thursday afternoon, February 12th at 4 o'clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home with Pastor Phillip Lee officiating. Visitation following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Heart Association (heart.org).
