Eloise Roberts Obituary
AIKEN - Eloise Landers Roberts, 87, widow of Terrell G. Roberts, passed away Saturday evening, May 25, 2024 in Aiken Regional Medical Centers with her loving family by her side.
A native of Marshall, NC, Eloise was a daughter of the late Andrew and Margaret Kissler Landers. She moved to Aiken in 1954 and was a homemaker. Eloise and Terrell were charter members of Corinth Baptist Church in New Ellenton and she was a former member of the choir. Eloise was an avid sports fan and played church league softball and basketball into her early 40's. She loved watching the Atlanta Braves and USC-Aiken Basketball. She loved to garden, work in her yard and spend time in the mountains
Survivors include three children, Gary Michael Roberts (Rhonda), James H. "Red" Roberts (Teresa) and Annette Summer (Vernon), all of Aiken; grandchildren, Michael Roberts, Christy Clemmer, Cady Roberts, Whitney Spinks, Cam Summer; great-grandchildren, Adeline and Lillie Clemmer, Madison Cooney, Skylar Patterson, Hunter Eddington, Odin Ramsey, Rylan Spinks, Abbi Roberts, Douggie Roberts; Tyler's fiance;e, Rhonda Miles.
The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon, May 29th beginning at 2 o'clock at Corinth Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 3 o'clock. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Corinth Baptist Church, P.O. Box 454, New Ellenton, SC 29809.
