EDWIN TEW Obituary
AIKEN, SC - Edwin Ronald Tew, 69, beloved husband of Kathleen Ann "Kass" Lockhart, died Saturday, April 23, 2016 at University Hospital, Augusta, GA.
A native of Dothan, AL, Ron was a son of the late Henry Hubert Tew and Mary Dell Walker Tew. He proudly served his country in Vietnam as a Navy SEAL. He was a Registered Nurse and lived in Dallas, TX from 1981 until moving to Aiken in 2009. He worked for a short time at Aiken Regional Medical Centers before deciding to retire. Ron loved traveling with Kass, especially South East Asia. He always enjoyed breakfast with the ROMEO's on Wednesday mornings.
Survivors, in addition to his wife Kass, include a daughter, Krista Bullard (Don) Anna Maria, FL; a son, Jeffrey Tew, Bradenton, FL, two grandchildren; a sister, Coleen Hardy (Jerry), Dothan Alabama; a brother, Richard Tew,(Regina) Clearwater, FL.
A Celebration of Ron's Life will be held Saturday afternoon, May 21st at 1 o'clock at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Vietnam Veterans of America (www.vva.org).
