Edward Hartless Obituary
Gaston - A celebration of life service for Mr. Edward Hudell Hartless, Jr., age 65, will be held 12:30 pm Saturday October 15, 2022, at Old Time Gospel Church with Pastor Michael Benson officiating. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Christopher Hartless, Blake Hartless, Tommy Hatcher, Larry Lamb, Eddie Cook, and James Minor. Mr. Hartless entered into rest Monday October, 10, 2022, at his residence.
He was the beloved husband of Mrs. Elizabeth Kelly Hartless and the son of Mrs. Elsie Fox Navicki and the late Mr. Edward Hudell Hartless, Sr. Mr. Hartless was born in Fort Gordon, GA, and made Aiken County his home for most of his life before moving to Gaston seven years ago. Mr. Hartless was a Christian and attended the Old Time Gospel Church in Trenton, SC. He was a self employed mechanic most of his life. His interests included cars, music, and animals.
Additional survivors include: one son Christopher (Stacy) Hartless, Ridge Spring; one step son Tommy Hatcher, Trenton; two step daughters Emily Kelly, Columbia, and Amy Kelly, Gaston; two brothers Anthony Hartless, GA, and Jack Hartless, Graniteville; two sisters Mikki Polan, GA, and Patricia Hartless, GA; and two grandchildren Lexiegh Bennett and Blake Hartless. Mr. Hartless was preceded in death by two brothers John Hartless and Thomas Navicki.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association www.diabetes.org. A visitation with the family will take place at 11:30 am at the church. COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PKWY (118 BYPASS) AIKEN, SC 29801 803-648-7175.
