Diane Hadley Obituary
AIKEN - Doris Diane Timmerman Hadley passed away in her home on Thursday after a struggle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 6, 1947, she was a lifetime resident of Aiken, SC. Diane was the daughter of the late Johnny and Myrtis (Renew) Timmerman, Sr. She is loved and missed by her children- daughter Angel (and Lance Gnann) of Aiken and their son Jameson and Christopher (and Kimberly) Hadley of Cayce and their children, Maggie and Reese. She is survived by her brothers Bobby and Johnny Timmerman, Jr. (and Judy), both of Aiken and preceded in death by her brother Hank Timmerman. Diane served her family, her friends, her neighbors, and especially her grandchildren with patience and loving kindness. She loved to garden and cook, and care for children. She had a special way of making others feel loved and accepted. She will be missed but her love lives on in those who knew her. Visitation will be held at Cole Funeral Home on Monday, Oct. 22 at 11:00 am, followed by funeral services at Graniteville Cemetary at 1:00. To Angel and family, please know you are in our thoughts and hugs as you travel this journey. We remember your mom as such a kind lady, opening her home to our son, Matthew, when we moved across country. I suspect they are enjoying a sweet visit together now. As we have learned through the passing of loved ones, you never get over it but you will get through it. And it is our promise from Jesus that we will be together again one day. Till then remember the sweet memories and speak of Diane often, keeping her always in you lives. God bless you all.
