David Colyer
TRENTON- Mr. Donald Lee Colyer, age 62, beloved husband of 43 years to Mrs. Karen Marchant Colyer, entered into rest on Sunday November 17, 2024. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Kisha (Jon) Brown, Jennifer (Scotty) Swearingen; grandchildren, Tristan Herring, Bryson Swearingen, Kaylee Swearingen, Gracelynn Brown, Baylee Brown; brothers, Johnny (Angie) Colyer, David (Denna) Colyer; sisters, Linda (Beau) Bonvillan, and Debby (Freddie) Greggory. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Lawrence Colyer and Joyce Ann Rhinehart; and step father, Barry Rhinehart. Mr. Colyer was well known as an avid hunter and fisherman. He was employed by AGY as a Winder Operator, and was a member of the International Brotherhood of the Teamsters. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched. A memorial service honoring his life and legacy will be held on Sunday December 1, 2024 at 2pm at the Graniteville Community Church of God, with Pastor Brandon L. Key officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Memory of Donny Colyer to the Graniteville Community Church of God at 208 Bettis Academy Road. Graniteville, SC 29829.
