Carol Reeve Obituary
AIKEN - Carol Ann Reeve, age 84, passed away August 19, 2023, at Augusta University Hospital.
Carol was born July 3, 1939 in Chicago, IL to the late Leonard and Dorothy Haubl. She had been a resident of Aiken, SC since 1961 and was the former owner and operator of Sandhill Station, a local retail gift store. Carol was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church and active in the prayer shawl group at the parish. She was a member of the Aiken Area Council of Aging and the Aiken Junior Woman's Club. She loved the beach and was an avid tennis player.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Susan Reeve Shultz.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Richard Reeve; brother Leonard Haubl; and sons Scott, Stephen, and Brett; and 13 grand children with 3 great-grand children.
A prayer service will be held at 6:15 p.m., Friday, September 1, 2023, in The George Funeral Chapel, with visitation following until 8:00 p.m.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 2, 2023, at the old historic St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Park Ave. Final Prayers and commendation will follow in the church columbarium.

Am devastated to have lost such a dear friend of so many years. We have helped each other through some very difficult times. So very sorry for the family at this time. She was a wonderful friend, wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by so many, but always remembered!
