Bruce Chaplin Obituary
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC - Mrs. Bruce Livingston
Chaplin, 93, entered into rest on Sunday, June 7, 2015.
A Celebration of her life and faith will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Grace United Methodist Church with Rev. James D. Dennis, Jr., Dr. Joe Lusk, and Dr. John M. Younginer, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Neeses Cemetery in Neeses, SC at 3:00 PM.
Mrs. Chaplin, wife of 56 years to the late Hammie L. Chaplin, Jr., was born in North, SC to Eugene and Annie Ashe Livingston. She was a long time member of Grace United Methodist Church and volunteered at University Hospital for 21 years as a Pink Lady.
Survivors include her children, Suzie Wattenbarger (Tom) of West Columbia, SC, Larry Chaplin (Sarah) of Simpsonville, SC, Jean Ellen Timmons (Charlie) of North Augusta, SC, and Bob Chaplin (Audrey) of Augusta, GA; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
The family would like to especially thank Dr. Dean Harrell, Dr. Robert Sorrentino, Liz Thompson LPN, Shawn Kneece RN at GRU, Gingers Adult Daycare staff, Azalea Woods Nursing Home Staff, and Tri-County Hospice for their loving care and support.
