BARRY WHITE Obituary

WHITE, BARRY F. - age 67, of Lenoir City, went home to be with Jesus on February 1, 2014, at his home. Barry was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Lenoir City where he served as an usher and was a member of Ray Reno's Sunday School Class. He was coach, educator and administrator for the Lenoir City School system for 38 years. Barry was an All State Basketball Player in 1964, and he was one of the founders of the Lenoir City High School Sports Hall of Fame. Preceded in death by his grandparents. Survivors include his son, Barry Joshua White; parents, B. F and Ann Keener White; sister, Karol Anne White Lockert; and nephews, Andrew and Caleb Lockert; one aunt, Merrill Jensen; and many close cousins and family members. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3, 2014, at 5:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Lenoir City, TN. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Family and friends will gather at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at Sunset Cemetery in Madisonville, TN, for graveside services.
