Annie Oakman Obituary
AIKEN - Mrs. Annie Oakman, age 88, of 126 Oakman Drive, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at University Hospital, Augusta, GA.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Zion Fair Baptist Church, (Viewing 10-11 AM) 97 Dry Branch Rd, with Rev. Bruce Wright, Pastor. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Annie attended the Richmond, VA School System. She later joined Hope Well Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA. She moved to South Carolina where she met and married James C. Oakman. They were married for 68 years. Annie joined Zion Fair Baptist Church and faithfully served on the Usher Board until her health declined. She retired from Savannah River Plant.
The Family will receive friends at the New Ellenton Chapel from 6-7 PM on Monday.
