Shivers
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC - Memorial Graveside Services for Mrs. Anna Margaret Shivers, 68, of Oakland Drive, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest September 14, 2014, will be conducted Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock in Pineview Memorial Gardens. Rev. James D. Dennis, Jr. officiating.
Mrs. Shivers was a native of Anderson, SC, having made North Augusta her home for the past 10 years. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and a retired Spanish Teacher at North Augusta High School with 24 years of service. Mrs. Shivers was preceded in death by a son, Michael Shivers and a brother, Barrett Gilmer, Jr.
Survivors include three sons and a daughter-in-law, William and Pam Shivers, III,
and John Scott Shivers all of North Augusta, and Paul Stewart Shivers, Atlanta; two grandchildren, Hunter Shivers and Dalton Shivers; a brother, Lyonel Gilmer and his wife Mary Jo, Nashville, TN.
The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 639 Georgia Avenue, North Augusta, SC 29841.

I think often of Anna Margaret and still miss her as I'm sure that everyone who knew and loved her does as well. She was a special and tenderhearted soul who loved making others happy - the "salt" of the earth. She is in a better place now, in the arms of her heavenly Father- the one who gave her that beautiful spirit that so graciously enriched all of us.

Billy-I'm so sorry for the loss of your sweet mom. She was such a tender hearted and genuine dear soul. One in a million! I have so many good memories of her. You were blessed to have her as a mom. My thoughts and prayers will be there with you as you make your way through the difficult days ahead. She is resting in Gods arms now. Love you, Aunt Angie
