Tallassee, AL - Mrs. Anna McCarty Benson, 55, of Tallassee, AL, passed away March 5, 2014. She was born February 2, 1959. Visitation will be Thursday, March 6 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at East Tallassee Church of Christ, Tallassee, AL. Funeral service will be Friday at 11:00 am at the church with Minister Michael McElroy officiating. Burial will follow at Carrville Cemetery, Tallassee, AL. She is survived by husband, Tim Benson; daughters, Katrina Studdard (Jonathan) and Adadra Williams (Joel) of Williston, SC; mother, Winnie Jean McCarty; sisters, Myra Pierce and Marshia Barker; brothers, Jerome McCarty (Mary Charles) and Phillip McCarty; and grandchildren, Isabella Studdard, Jonah Studdard, Titus Studdard, Evan Williams, Kaitlyn Williams, Chase Morris and Jessa Williams.
