Alice Smith Obituary
Alice was born in Duncan, SC, a daughter of the late Charlie and Dolly Harvey Smith. She was a Lab Technician at the Savannah River Plant, and retired after working for DuPont and then Westinghouse for 35 years.
She is survived by her sisters, Margie Smith Cansler, Aiken, and Ruby Bunting, Whaleyville, MD; niece and nephew, Sandi Hill, and Robert Cansler, Jr.; great niece and nephews, Rebecca Strieby, Cyndi Truitt, Robert Cansler, III, and Stephen Cansler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Ruth Coggins and Charles Smith, and a nephew, Jon David Cansler.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, October 17, 2021, in Aiken Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Houston Hill officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
