New Caney, TX, will be held at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the Tennessee Presbyterian Church building with Bro. Robert Adamson officiating. Interment will follow at Tennessee Cemetery.
Pamela Dianne Baker, age 70, was born on August 29, 1955, in
Houston, Texas, and passed away peacefully on February 16, 2026, in Humble, Texas, surrounded by her loving family.
Pam grew up in Houston and the Eastgate community of Dayton. She attended Dayton High School, where she was active in the Future Homemakers of America (FHA) and 4-H. Those early years reflected the heart of who she would always be - caring, faithful, creative, and devoted to her family and community.
Pam had a deep love for reading her Bible, crocheting, and listening to gospel music on KSBJ. These hobbies brought her peace and joy. Her favorite scripture was Psalm 23, a passage that beautifully reflects her unwavering faith. One thing is certain: Pam loved Jesus with all her heart.
She dearly cherished her family and friends, and her grandchildren were the light of her life. Pam enjoyed life's simple pleasures: popcorn, Coca-Cola, and chocolate - especially Hershey's Kisses, her absolute favorite. Her sister, Sharon, always made sure she was well-stocked. Pam's favorite color was purple, which is evident in the beautiful flowers that surround us today.
Pam was blessed with lifelong friendships, including Debbie Elrod, Sonya Walker, Debbie Wagner, Kim Amyx, and Robbie and Marlene Mosley, and most especially her sister, Sharon, who was not only her sister but her very best friend. Sharon was a constant source of love, strength, laughter, and unwavering support throughout Pam's life. These friendships were treasured gifts throughout her life.
She is survived by her parents, Allen Maurice Baker and Bobbie Jean Jones Baker; her sons, Scott Baker and his spouse, AnnDee Baker, of
New Caney, Texas; Brandon Goolsby and his spouse, Margie Goolsby, of Splendora, Texas; and Mark Goolsby of Conroe, Texas. She is also survived by her sister, Sharon Suzanne Baker-West, and her spouse, David West, of Humble, Texas; her brothers, Thomas A. Baker and his spouse, Janie Baker, of
Timpson, Texas, and Sammy Baker of Crosby, Texas; her beloved grandchildren, BreAnna Baker, Cameren Goolsby, Ryan Baker, Wyatt Goolsby, Rylie Goolsby, Maddison Goolsby, and Hunter Goolsby; numerous nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews; many dear cousins; and her surviving aunts, Shirley Hartzog and Minie Baker.
Pam was preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter and Annie Dee Jones, and Carlton and Lucille Baker, as well as her infant brothers, the Baker twin boys.
Pam's life was a beautiful reflection of faith, love, and devotion. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering belief. While our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in knowing she is at peace and walking with her Savior.
"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." - Psalm 23
