Keith Turner Obituary
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC -
Funeral Services for Mr. Keith Turner, Jr., 86, of West Woodlawn Avenue, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest June 1, 2015, will be conducted Friday morning at 10 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel.

Mr. Turner was a native of Greenwood, South Carolina, having made North Augusta his home for the past 75 years. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War and husband of the late Elizabeth Markwalter Turner. Mr. Turner was the former owner/operator of Turner's Atlantic Service Station which later was affiliated with American Oil Company (Amoco) for 34 years. He later became associated with Butler Automotive for 20 years. Mr. Turner had a great love for the restoration of antique automobiles and older homes.
Survivors include his two daughters and a son-in-law, Ginger and Keith Lynn,
Johnston and Micki Turner Davis, Augusta; three grandchildren, Garrett (Ariel) Lynn, Elizabeth Lynn and Victoria Lynn; two sisters, Mary
(Walter) Adams, Aiken and Becky (Kenny) Grose, North Augusta.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 until 8.

Ginger ,Mickey and family I want to tell you how sad I was to hear about your Dad. He loved his family so much. Everyone loved Keith. We miss him so much at the Beauty Shop.

Ginger, Micki...I am saddened to hear the loss of your dad. Your dad was a wonderful father & husband that loved his family to the end. I will always cherish the good-ol times we had on Courtney Drive where your dad made little events happen into fun times. He was the neighborhood icon when something mechanical broke and went the extra mile to help a neighbor no matter what took. He would have been groomed for a top Nascar team in his time. There will never be another Keith Turner. Again, I am saddened of the loss and I trust the two of you & your family will make it through this time of loss.

Keith Turner was a true southern gentleman. Friendly, kind, quick to help or offer a joke and always on his best behavior.
The Augusta area lost a great man Monday. May God Bless you Keith Turner!
