"Chris" Greiner
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC -
Memorial Services for Mr. Christopher H. "Chris" Greiner, 50, who entered into rest February 9, 2015, will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Posey Funeral Chapel. Rev. Robert Boone and Rev. Michael Dyar officiating. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
Mr. Greiner was a native of Augusta, GA, former resident of Langley, SC, having made North Augusta his home for the past ten years. He was a member of the Stiefeltown Baptist Church. Mr. Greiner was an automotive mechanic with Butler Automotive for over seven years and was a car enthusiast. He was preceded in death by his mother, Katie D. Greiner and a brother, Reg Greiner.
Survivors include his wife of 7 years, Karen Greiner; a son, John Greiner, Martinez, GA; two daughters, Christa Greiner, Augusta, GA, Katie Greiner, North Augusta, SC; a grandson, Little J; father and step-mother, Russell N. and Joyce Greiner, Evans, GA; a sister, Deidre Greiner, Augusta, GA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alan and Mary Cato, Gloverville, SC; a brother-in-law, Mark Cato, Barnwell, SC; three nephews, Cameron Lamb, Augusta, GA, Todd Lamb, Evans, GA, Zach Lamb, Martinez, GA; a niece, Amie Peace, Evans, GA.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 until 8.
Honorary Pallbearers will be David Murrah, Ricky Saxon, Victor Duke, Eddie Newsome, Paul Felberg, Clyde Condrey, Chuck Fitzgerald, Eddie Butler and the Staff of Butler Automotive, Reynolds Street.

No words can express the sadness we feel at losing Chris or to help ease the pain you endure. May God grant you the comfort that only He can give. It is a wonderful thing to know Chris was only passing through, his journey now complete, he is home where he belongs.
