With deepest and heartfelt sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mr. Benjamin Wigfall who entered into rest March 29, 2026.
Mr. Wigall was a native of Richmond County and resided in North Augusta. He was a member of Mealing Grove Missionary Baptist Church and was a Veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include a daughter, Sheena Wigfall of North Augusta, SC; a son, Edmund Wigfall of North Augusta, SC; five sisters, Christine Walker, Alice (Jimmy) Schoultz, Carrie Nealous, Pauline McKie and Georgia (Emory) El all of North Augusta, SC; a brother, Ernest (Judy) Wigfall of North Augusta, SC; six grandchildren; a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at Mealing Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
