Thomas Corkran Obituary
Tom was born October 14, 1945 in Johnstown, PA, a son of the late Clarence Herman Corkran, Jr. and Constance Cooley Corkran. He received his Juris Doctorate Degree from Akron University in Akron, Ohio. He worked at Babcock and Wilcox Research Center in Alliance, Ohio and then Framatome, Inc. in Lynchburg, VA and retired from there in 2006. In 2022, Tom and Kristy moved to Conway SC and have been enjoying their retirement. Tom loved music, especially classic rock.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Kristy Corkran, two sons, Christopher Thomas Corkran and his wife, Veronica and Troy Michael Haidet and his wife, Amanda, two granddaughters, Briana Corkran and Payton Haidet, his twin sister, Carolyn Corkran, one brother, Wayne Corkran and his wife, Patricia, and two nieces.
No local services are planned.
Cremation Services Direct (843-651-1194) of Myrtle Beach is assisting the family with arrangements.
