Mary Elizabeth Murdoch June 30, 1984 – September 6, 2025 Mary Elizabeth Murdoch, age 41, passed away peacefully Saturday September 6, 2025, at her home in Murrells Inlet, SC. Formerly of Hendersonville, NC and Calabash, NC, Mary was born in Asheville, NC the daughter of the late Anthony Calton and Elizabeth Calton. Mary was an accomplished musician. She loved playing the tenor saxophone, guitar, flute and piano. She loved music, especially the Beatles, and enjoyed Nintendo, art, making jewelry, hairstyling and playing darts. Mary especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the American Darts Association and held a license in Cosmetology. Mary is survived by her husband, Sean Harvey and children, Violet and Jude Harvey of Murrells Inlet, SC; grandparents, Wayne and Susie Burchfield of Murrells Inlet, SC; aunt, Jackie Daughton of Calabash, NC; uncle and aunt, Porter and Linda Fowler of Hartwell, GA; numerous cousins and many friends. A Celebration of Mary's Life will be held 11:00 AM Friday September 12, 2025 at Shepherd of the Sea Lutheran Church in Garden City, SC. Pastor Brad Bellah officiating. In Lieu of Flowers donations in Mary's name may be made to a Go Fund Me page to cover funeral and medical expenses.
