Judith Lawyer Obituary

Judith Ann Lawyer, 77, of Murrells Inlet, SC formerly of Montgomery County, Maryland, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026, at Embrace Hospice House in Carolina Forest. Judy was born June 25, 1948, to the late Harold C. and Lorraine Mitchell. Judy was also preceded in death by her brother, Harold C. "Chick" Mitchell.

Judy lived a life devoted and caring for her family. She was not only a wonderful wife, amazing mother and exceptional grandmother, but she was also very successful in the Real Estate Industry, a business that she loved and excelled in for over 50 years. She began as a realtor in 1978 in Maryland soon becoming a Broker in Charge both in Maryland and then SC recruiting, training and managing agents. Many awards and recognitions later, she retired in 2020.

Judy is survived by her beloved husband, Jeff; Her 2 daughters, Robyn Salisbury (Joe) and Tara McGaha Boivin (Donald); 4 grandchildren (her pride and joy), Lindsay (Mike), Joey, Max and Weston and her Great Granddaughter, Tatum. She is also survived by her brother, Jeff Mitchell (Janet), 4 nephews, 1 niece and many loving cousins.

Visitation is planned for Monday March 30, 2026, from 11am to 1pm at Burroughs Funeral Home 3558 Old Kings Hwy Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
