Darrell Pufahl Obituary

Darrell Dean Pufahl, 86, of North Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at his residence. He was born February 4, 1940, in Cass County, Indiana, son of the late, Clarence Pufahl and Jennie Mae King Pufahl.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Jerry McKinney, and Charlie Manning.

Survivors include his wife of sixty four years, Phyllis Pufahl of North Myrtle Beach, SC; three children, Shelley Warner of Colorado Springs, CO, Susan Golightly and her husband, Mike of Noblesville, IN, Betsy Duncan of North Myrtle Beach, SC; sisters, Delores Manning of Kokomo, IN, and Darlene McKinney of Lebanon, IN; two brothers, Charles Pufahl and his wife, Janet of Pineville, LA and Mike Pufahl and his wife, Faye of Royal Center, IN; nine grandchildren, Jaz, Megan, Karly, Sydney, Spencer, Sam, Riley, Taylor, Erin; five great grandchildren, Alekei, Laika, Scarlett, Leiliana, Sloane, Vivienne; many extended family members and friends.

Darrell loved spending time at the beach, golfing, and dancing. He also enjoyed traveling all over Europe with his wife.

A celebration of Darrell's life will be held at a later date.
