Mr. Henry Tucker Cannon, age 94, passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, and immediately was ushered into the eternal rest of Heaven and reunited with his beloved wife, Bobby, with whom he shared 67 years of marriage before her death in 2022.
Born May 15, 1931 in Conway, SC, he was the son of the late Quince Cannon and the late Alma Tucker Cannon. Mr. Cannon proudly served in the SC National Guard for 42 years and retired from civil service as a procurement manager following 36 years of service. Above all this, his greatest accomplishment and joy in life was his family. He cherished his wife, who selflessly and lovingly cared for him, their children, and their home. Mr. Cannon loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and always enjoyed time spent with them.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Cannon was predeceased by his brother, Elwood Cannon; his sisters, Frances Ammons and Linda Redd; and his son-in-law, Russell Patrick Brehn.
The loving family he leaves behind includes his children, Thomas A. "Tommy" Rowe and wife Cindy, Susan Cannon Fowler and husband Bobby, and Sandra Cannon Brehn; his grandchildren, Shea Tucker Clayton and wife Erin, Erica Fowler Helms and husband Jeff, Christian Fowler Palmer and husband Grayson, Samantha Rowe Faile and husband Butch, Bobbie Rowe Voidavich and husband Drew, and Tahma Rowe Jeffrey and husband Joe; and his great-grandchildren, Cannon Helms, Emerson Helms, Finn Gilbert, Bren Holt, Keely Faile, Jackson Faile, Logan Jeffrey, Luke Jeffrey, Ella Jeffrey, Jake Jeffrey, Taj Conkle, and Justice Conkle.
Funeral services will be intimate and private in respect of Mr. Cannon's wishes. The family encourages all who knew and loved him to celebrate the 4th of July and wave a flag in cherished memory of his patriotism.
