David Green Obituary

David LeRoy Green, born March 28, 1945, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was a devoted husband, a beloved father and grandfather, and a man whose warmth and kindness touched everyone he knew.

David earned two master's degrees, including one in chemistry, and led the Kern Medical Center lab in Bakersfield, California. He later served as a sheriff's deputy and founded his own private investigations firm. For 20 holiday seasons, he delighted children by playing Santa Claus.

David shared 34 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife Irma, and he cherished their family deeply. He especially loved their yearly beach vacations with his son Daniel Bracamonte, daughter-in-law Georgiana, and grandchildren Nora Bracamonte, Alfredo Bracamonte, Camden Espino, and Colin Espino. David also cherished his relationship with his niece and nephews, embracing them all with the same warmth and love.

He is also survived by his sister Sharon Laborde and her husband Gordon, and by his brother Robert Brown and his wife Kathy Brown. A lifelong animal lover, David filled their home with rescued pets and taught his grandchildren to love and respect animals.
