Burnie Jordan Obituary

Burnie Carl Jordan, 71, of Conway, SC received his healing and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 2, 2025 after a long illness; with his loving wife by his side. He was the son of the late Burnie Franklin and Betty Jo Cooper Jordan. He was predeceased by his parents and a special son Frank Harrelson. He was married to his loving wife Judy for 54 years. Together they built a family stronger than no other. They raised many children over the years, theirs and others they took in along the way as their own. He was cherished by his loving children Dana (Frank) Harrelson, Michael (Lori) Jordan, Sam (Heather) Jordan all of Conway, and Becky (Ryan) Lambert of Galivants Ferry. He loved his grandchildren and talked about them to everybody he knew. They called him Papa and he was so proud to call them his- Nikki (Phillip) McClellan, Jordan (Alex) Harrelson, Kyle (Whitney) Jordan, Courtney (Cody) Gardner, Hayes (Courtney) Jordan, Hanna Harrelson (Chris), Landon (Jessica) Jordan, Dylan (Haley) Lambert, Noah Lambert, and John Ryan Lambert. His great grands Aiden, Emery, Brayden, Carson, Reese, Arlee, Gracelynn, Jaxon, Keagan, Brynn, Remi, Hayden, Grant, Annalynn, Owen, Callie, Ivy Grace, & Grafton. He had three beloved sisters Joanne (Jimmy) Gerald, Joyce (Robert) Singleton, and Theresa (Eddie) Rabon. He had other children he loved as his own including Randall Roberts, Johnny Roberts, Karen Horn, Donald Roberts, and Janet Capps. He also had many nieces, nephews, family and friends who he loved dearly. He was the greatest Daddy and Papa. He loved so many so good and never met a stranger. He enjoyed church, cow sales, planting a garden, farming, riding his tractor, driving his little blue car, keeping his yard perfect, and more than anything; he loved his wife and all of his children. No matter where he went, he was always smiling and bragging on his family. He will be remembered most by his smile, his hugs, his tractor and his car. His family will never forget the legacy he leaves behind-mostly his love for Jesus and all he taught them. The family would like to extend a special thank you to his home health nurse Stephanie Hall with Bayada and to MUSC. Funeral Services will be held 3pm, Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Piney Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Haselden and Rev. Jordan Harrelson officiating. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital. He had a special place in his heart for them and their mission for children.
