Debra Hill Obituary

Debra Diane Hill, age 50, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, formerly of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on March 30, 2026.

Debra was born on October 24, 1975, in Dalton, Georgia, to the late Jerry Gill and Juanita Austin Gill. Debra was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Jessie Hill, and father-in-law, James Hill.

She made her home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she enjoyed the peacefulness of beach living and the beauty of coastal life.

Debra found great joy in simple pleasures. She loved gardening, bird watching, and reading, and cherished time spent outdoors, especially near the ocean. Her love of nature and quiet hobbies reflected her gentle spirit and appreciation for life's everyday moments.

She is survived by her loving husband, Brian Hill; her children, Alex Caldwell (son), Chelsea Gross (daughter), Shania Young (daughter), and Aubrey Hill (daughter); her cherished grandchildren, Dawson Gross (grandson), Madison Gross (granddaughter), Jameson Young (grandson), Novalea Young (granddaughter), and Oliver Young (grandson); and her sons-in-law, Chris Young and Matt Gross.

A memorial service will be held on April 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. At Burroughs Funeral Home 3558 Old Kings Hwy Murrells Inlet, SC 29576
