Shirley was 82 years old when she passed and had a life full of joy and happiness as being a homemaker and raising her 4 children, she worked as an attendant at the schools where her children attended, she also worked at child care facilities as she had a passion to take care of and to teach children in their most formidable years. If you asked her kids were her most valuable accomplishments and meant the most to her in her life.

Throughout her life she was known for giving to others and being selfless when it came to making sure that people around her, what meant the most to her in her life were taking care of family and she was passionate about making sure that family came first. One of her biggest interests was the South Carolina Stingrays hockey team and she was a member of their fan club and loved going to the games and became very good friends with many of the players and coaches and was always willing to help in any of their community programs. She was a member of the Chaparral Baptist church and loved her friends and church family and was always helping in church activities.

Shirley is survived by her 4 children: Steven Gunn and his wife Tammie Gunn, Terry Gunn and his wife Sharon Gunn, Debbie Rivers and her husband Jeff Rivers, Michelle Wrenn and her husband Buddy Wrenn, she also has 10 grandchildren and 12 Great grandchildren, she was preceded in death by her mother and father, 1 sister and 4 brothers.

A memorial service will be held on February 7th, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Chaparral Baptist Church at 115 Domingo Drive, Moncks Corner S.C., 29461.
