Laurie Blackmon Obituary

Laurie Lynn (Allen) Blackmon of Ladson, SC passed away on March 14, 2026 surrounded by love. She was born March 5, 1966. Laurie, loving wife of 30 years and mother loved the outdoors and riding her motorcycle with her husband, son Thomas and friends. Laurie went to work for electrical supply houses in the area. She was presently employed by Capital Electric as an Industrial Electrical Sales Specialist for 22 years, starting at Wholesale Electric in Lincolnville at the age of 19. She loved her job and her customers. Her love for family was uppermost at all times.

Laurie was preceded in death by her step father, Charles Howell in 2023.

Laurie is survived by her husband, Ricky Blackmon, step-son David Blackmon and son Thomas Blackmon (Madison) and grandson Weston Blackmon. Her mother Linda Howell and brother Lane Allen of Cottageville. Her sister Leath Provenzano (Steven) of Nokomis, Fla. Her father Larry Dean Allen of Newport, Mich., brothers, Robert Allen (Sam), Kevin Allen and Jason Allen (April Rose) all of Michigan. Step sisters Angie Belk (Tommy) of Summerville and Becky Sims (Robert) of Waynesville, NC. Too many nieces and nephews and friends to name.

A memorial service will be in April.
