Carroll Evans Obituary

Carroll W. Evans, 80, of Eutawville, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 2nd, 2025.
A visitation of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, from 11am to 12pm at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12pm in the Chapel. Burial will immediately follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens.
Carroll was born on August 3rd, 1944, in Charleston, SC, a son of the late Aline Evans. Carroll grew up in Charleston, SC and later began his career as a welder. He worked for Fluor Daniels Corporation for many years until his retirement. He had many enjoyments in life including fishing, racing, watching NASCAR, and most of all, spending time with his beloved family. Carroll was a strong willed, independent man who would do just about anything for his family. He was a much beloved father, grandfather, and friend who will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving children: Yvonne Tant, Carroll Evans, Jr. (Kimberly), and Patricia Harlow (Chavis); numerous beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as his brother-in-law, Bobby Altman. He is preceded in death by his siblings: Joyce Altman and Charles Evans; his daughter, Robin Cardenas; as well as a great grandchild, Malia Evans.
