Parker Kenneth Evans, of Easley, 15, who was affectionately known as a "friend to all", passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 19, 2026, and in true Parker fashion, he put up a fight until the very end. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day" - 2 Timothy 4:7-8
Parker was a light in this world, a young man whose positive, loving, and joyful spirit touched more lives than we will ever fully know. He was courageous, yet tender and deeply sensitive. Parker fought like a lion, facing every challenge with strength far beyond his years. Even on the hardest days, he carried a smile that could brighten a room and a spirit that refused to give up. His courage inspired not only those walking alongside him but also countless others who followed his journey. Through his fight, he became a source of hope and strength for many battling their own storms.
Perhaps this was always part of God's plan for Parker, to shine brightly in every space he entered, to unite people through love, to remind us to see the good in one another, and to teach us what true bravery looks like. He had a way of enchanting others with his friendly, positive nature. He made people feel seen, encouraged, and uplifted.
Through his story, so many came to know our incredibly sweet and unique son. Parker made life better simply by being in it. He enriched our lives beyond measure with his humor, determination, kindness, and his unmistakable spark.
We find peace in knowing he is now in the presence of God. And when his earthly fight was finished, we can only imagine him ringing the bell in Heaven, whole, healed, and victorious, the loudest and most beautiful celebration.
Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made will live on. His legacy is one of strength, love, faith, and unwavering courage. This is not goodbye, sweet boy; it is simply see you later, until we are together again.
We could not be more proud to be your parents. Parker will forever be our hero, our heart, and one of our greatest blessings.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parker's Fight Pals, a mission to honor Parker's bravery, strength, and the smile that could light up any room.
Squishmallows brought Parker comfort and joy during some of his hardest days. They made him smile. They gave him something soft to hold onto when things felt heavy. Through Parker's Fight Pals, we will donate Squishmallows to children at the hospital who are battling cancer, spreading the same comfort, courage, and joy that meant so much to him.
To help us begin this mission, we invite anyone willing and able to bring a new Squishmallow to Parker's funeral service and place it by his casket. After the service, these will be collected and donated to children fighting their own brave battles.
Your kindness will help us continue spreading Parker's light and love to other brave children.
Even in his absence, Parker's light will continue to shine, one smile, one hug, one Squishmallow at a time.
Friends are encouraged to share their favorite memories of Parker with the family by clicking the "Share A Memory" button.
