Marie Baker Obituary

Marie Dill Niel Baker, 87, passed away November 1, 2025. A native of Greenville, South Carolina, daughter of the late James and Sally Rogers Dill, she was a retired employee of Steel Heddle and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband Roderick Baker, Sr. of the home; three children, Deborah Niel, Jason, Niel, and Jeffrey Niel; a sister, Carole Harris; two grandchildren, Justin Niel and Bradley Niel; and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Baker was predeceased by a son, Stephen Niel. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Mountain View Cemetery conducted by Rev. Nathan Thomas.
