Jack Medlin Obituary

Jack David Medlin, 91, passed away October 31, 2025. A native of Greenville, South Carolina, son of the late James Carter and Velda Ellen Turner Medlin, he was United States Air Force Veteran and of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his wife, Doris Ann Godfrey Medlin of the home; three daughters, Gail Miller (Al) of Greer, South Carolina, Pamela Renee Pratt of Greenville, South Carolina, and Patricia Atkins (Wade) of Greer, South Carolina; two sisters, Dorothy Smith of Easley, South Carolina and Becky Gee of North Carolina; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Medlin was predeceased by five brothers, Roger Medlin, Terry Medlin, Gary Medlin, Johnny Medlin, and Buddy Medlin; three sisters, Betty Bishop, Joyce Clardy, and Lynn Hood; and his first wife, Shirley Mae Bridwell Medlin. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Mountain View Cemetery conducted by Dr. Keith Kelly. The family will receive friends after the service at the gravesite.
