Arthur Lineberger Obituary

Arthur Henry Lineberger, age 68, passed away on January 31, 2026, in Greenville, South Carolina. Born in Greenville, Arthur lived his life to the fullest, guided by independence, kindness, and deep care for others.

Arthur was the son of Earle M. Lineberger and Francis Lineberger. He was known for his humor, his generous spirit, and his willingness to help anyone in need. Arthur had a way of connecting with people and often put others before himself.

Before his battle with health problems, Arthur loved being on his boat or anywhere near the water. It was where he found peace, joy, and a sense of freedom that reflected who he was at heart.

Arthur was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Lauren Lineberger, and his two sisters, Jessie L. Sitton and Jane L. Pridgeon.

He is survived by his son, Arthur Lineberger Jr.; his brother Earle Lineberger and wife Lyn; his sister Susan M. Lineberger; his grandson Jaden Priest, and his ex-wife and longtime partner, Donna S. Lineberger. He is also survived by his loving extended family, Jennifer Jennings and Tyge Watts, as well as his many "adopted" grandchildren and great grandchildren, who brought him great joy.

Arthur will be sorely missed by all those who knew him. He will be remembered for his warmth, his individuality, and the quiet but lasting impact he made on the lives of those he knew and loved.

A celebration of life will be held at Fletcher Funeral Home on Saturday, February 28, for all who wish to attend. Time to be determined.
