Wright: We regret to hear of your mom's death and want to send you our sincere condolences. Your mom was a great supporter of Limestone College for many years and her many years of service and gifts were memorable to both Nancy and myself. I remember one particular visit several years ago when Virginia led the tour of her church "artifacts " room. We had some good times with the "Georgetown Group" in Georgetown and here in Gaffney. We regret our not being able to attend the funeral service on Friday because of a full agenda of events we are obligated to attend here in Gaffney. Our prayers are with you and the Georgetown community of her many friends. She was a great lady and earnest friend. We will miss her. Love, In Christ, Dave and Nancy Rilling

I'm so sad to hear about Virginia. She was so full of life always and fun to be around. I enjoyed the times I spent with her. She will be truly missed! Besides knowing her through all the Hoppin' John contests between Bill Johnstone, Sr, and her, she was my 8th grade science teacher. She was a character and I just thought the world of her.

So sorry for your loss, Wright. Mrs. Skinner was one of my teachers in middle school. Virginia has 4 beautiful granddaughters that are so sweet. It has been a pleasure being friends with Virginia, her granddaughters and Wright and I know she has a lot of work she has to do upstairs with her friends. Wright, you and your children are in my prayers and I hope you have all of your wonderful memories stored up in your mind. Call on them every day for peace.
