I will always have tremendous respect for Ron. A true patriot, having given 30 years service to our nation as a Marine and always the quintessential gentleman. I was truly fortunate to have gotten to know Ron and will miss him terribly. His memory is a blessing to all who knew him

I am so very sorry for the family's loss of their father, grandfather, and great grandfather. I only knew MGYSGT McAbee through his work as the bailiff of the Beaufort County Family Court. His calm, steady presence in that courtroom will be missed by all who knew him. Fair winds and a following sea, Master Guns. May God keep you in the palm of his hand.
