Margo Ward Obituary

Margo Phyllis Ward, 55, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2017 from 6pm-8pm at Graham Funeral Home. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Larry R. Deeter, will be Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Lakewood Baptist Church at 11am. Burial will immediately follow the service and be held in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

Born in Georgetown, SC on February 4, 1962, Ms. Ward was a daughter of Mrs. Hazel Chance Ward and the late Joseph Delaney Ward.

Ms. Ward was a graduate of Winyah High School and Coastal Carolina University. She worked for thirty-four years at K-Mart, three years at Colonial Oil, and more recently at H&S Oil. Ms. Ward was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church and enjoyed making floral arrangements. She loved spending time with friends and family, especially her two beloved nephews.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, is her brother-in-law, Danny Newton (Kathy) of Georgetown; her nephews, Elliott Newton and Casey Newton of Georgetown; her aunt, Glenda Ward of Bladenboro, NC; and her cousin, Joyce Monk of Bladenboro, NC.

In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her sister Sharon Ward Newton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakewood Baptist Church at 171 Lakewood Avenue, Georgetown, SC 29440.
