Joseph O'Brien Obituary

Joseph "Joe" O'Brien, born March 7, 1950, in Darby, PA, passed away on April 16, 2026. He was raised in Delaware County, PA and graduated from Monsignor Bonner High School in 1968.

Joe was preceded in death by his father, John F. O'Brien, and mother, Nina Ramage. He is survived by his beloved wife, Beverly; brothers John (Lorraine), Jim (Kathy), and Don; one nephew and three nieces; stepdaughter Jessica (Tyler); and stepson Mark (Christina); and his cherished grandchildren, Ty, Raylan, Abby, and Marin.

Joe earned a B.A. in Biochemistry and an MBA in Strategic Planning from Temple University. He worked in biomedical research before a long career with Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceuticals in biopharmaceutical development and IT.

Retirement came in 2010 to Hilton Head Island where Joe enjoyed tennis, music (favorite song, Suspicious Minds by Elvis Presley), and time with his dogs. Relocated in 2021 to the beautiful community of Habersham in Beaufort.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
