John Carson Obituary
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 2:30pm at Carl Anderson Memorial Chapel with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Johnny was born on August 12, 1954 in Beaufort, SC. He is the son of the late Charles W. Carson and Gloria Ann Meyer Carson.
Johnny was a Commercial Shrimper and he loved the river and shrimping along side his son John and with his brother Mark. He loved God, his family and he loved holidays with his family. He was one of a kind and his sense of humor kept everyone around him entertained.
Surviving is one son, John M. Carson, Jr. (Jessica); two daughters, Ashley Vinson and Ann Marie Carson; two brothers, Charles Carson and Mark Carson; one sister, Patricia Lewin; six grandchildren and one great grand.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, William "Willie" Carson and Richard Carson and one granddaughter Katelyn McKenzie Vinson.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Palmetto Animal League 56 Riverwalk Blvd Ridgeland, SC 29936.
