Geneva Reeves Obituary
A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Terry Wilkerson, Pastor Tommy Hardwick, and Pastor Clemmy Griggs, will be held at Georgetown Church of God on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 11am. Interment will follow the service and be held in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held Friday, June 16, 2017 from 6pm-8pm at Graham Funeral Home.
Born in Georgetown, SC on December 25, 1926, she was a daughter of the late James Murray Jacobs and the late Orie Bell Jacobs.
Mrs. Reeves was a Winyah High graduate and devoted member of Georgetown Church of God. She loved her church and her church family. Mrs. Reeves enjoyed gardening, sewing, and crafts. She loved her family dearly, especially her many grandchildren.
Surviving are her three daughters, Alice (Gleen) Howle of Georgetown, Linda (Wade) Jacobs of Swansea, SC, and Carol (Jimmy) Bessinger of Georgetown, SC; one sister, Virginia Sessions; two very special nieces, Wanda Coleman and Shirley Moore; one special brother in law, D.K. Reeves; six grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by four sisters, Sadie Price, Blanche Poston, Thelma Shelley, Kathryn Hardwick and six brothers, Roland Jacobs, Clifford Jacobs, Charles Jacobs, Earl Jacobs, Weyman Jacobs, and Jimmy Jacobs.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105
