Elizabeth Tisdale Obituary

Funeral services for Elizabeth 'Beth" Price Tisdale, were held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, 1112 Fair Street, Camden, SC. The Reverends Wayne Ellis and Gary Rivas officiated. The family received friends immediately after the service in the chapel. Memorials may be made to Camden Military Academy, 520 Highway 1, Camden, SC 29020 or Kershaw County Humane Society, 128 Black River Road, Camden, SC 29020.

Beth, the daughter of the late Leonard Lee Price and Jewell Hornsby Price, died on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.

Beth is survived by the loves of her life, her husband of 41 years, Robert Edward Tisdale and son, Robert Edward Tisdale, Jr. (Stacey) as well as her two grandchildren, Sawyer (8) and Tripp (6). Beth was the youngest of four children, and she is survived by her sisters, Kay Phillips (Craig, deceased) and their children Shelly Sullivan (daughter Sydney Christmas, and her husband Andrew, and their daughter, Tallulah and Spencer Sullivan) Shannon Johnson (Michael) and their children Nina and Ian; Lenora Price and her children, Elizabeth Stork Haggmark (Christian and son Charles) and William Stork (Lindsay); Kathryn Price Stitt (Cab) and their children, Sarah (deceased) and Peter (Cristy).

In addition to her parents, Beth was predeceased by her grandparents, Adam Erastus and Alma Wingate Price, and Clarence Eugene and Hattie Mae Drakefield Hornsby.

Beth was happiest when surrounded by her family, friends, and animals that meant the world to her. Her faith had always been very important to her. Beth would not have had the life she had without the presence, guidance, and love of the Lord in every aspect of her life. Beth will be in our hearts forever and missed by all who knew her kind and selfless spirit. "My walk through life has been blessed in so many ways by His love".
