Elizabeth Flemming Obituary

Elizabeth Ruth Moxley Flemming, 95, widower of Robert Charles Fleeing, Sr., died Saturday morning, February 23, 2019, at Grand Strand Medical Center, Myrtle Beach, SC.

Mrs. Flemming was born February 13, 1924 in Greenwich, CT, a daughter of the late William John Moxley and Marjorie Mary Blunt Moxley. She was secretary for Wilton School Systems until 1979, when Mr. and Mrs. Flemming moved to Georgetown, after visiting with a relative and falling in love with the area. Mrs. Flemming was a member of Wayne United Methodist Church. Mrs. Flemming enjoyed working in her flower garden and was an avid reader. She always enjoying her romance novels. Her biggest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are: two daughters, Janet L. Flemming of Georgetown; Linda Flemming Southworth of Palm Coast, FL; a son, Robert C. Flemming, Jr. of Georgetown, CT; seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be private at a later date.

The family suggests memorials to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38105-3678 or to the charity of one's choice.
