Donald Hanscom Obituary

Dr. Donald Richard Hanscom, 80, husband of Marguerite Kaminski-Hanscom of Beaufort, SC, died Wednesday, May 7, 2025. Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 12:00 noon in Beaufort National Cemetery with military honors. Dr. Hanscom was born on December 30, 1944 in San Francisco, CA. He is the son of the late Fred Hanscom and Elise McCary Hanscom. He was a long time resident of Beverly, MA and a well known physician and member of the Beverly Hospital medical staff. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and South Carolina Gamecocks fan. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, Peggy and the rest of his family. Donald is survived by his wife, Marguerite (Peggy); his son and his wife, Dr. David Hanscom and Alyssa Hanscom and his grandson Ramsey Hanscom, a brother, Fred Hanscom, and several nieces and nephews.
